60′ Pod Cat Power

The pod concept is still new even as a sailing boat so as a power boat its way out there.

It follows the same theme though, maximum footprint for the least amount of outlay. The single biggest feature of this style of podcat is the total silence. The accommodation pod is fully airborne, the engines are isolated away in the hulls as is any fuel smells. The accommodation is simple but more than comfortable enough with 2 separate sleeping areas.

If you’ve got millions to spend then this obviously won’t suit you whereas if you have a need to go offshore cruising in a inexpensive but big platform with minimum engines, fuel etc, maybe worth considering?

You have to be careful with beam as it can make a boat very uncomfortable in some seas so I brought the beam down a metre from what you would have in a sailing cat.
